AYURVEDIC CONSULTATIONS IN 2020!
WHAT IS AYURVEDA?
Ayurveda, translated to "The Science of Life", is considered one of the most ancient healing practices in the world, originating in India over 5000 years ago! Ayurveda places great emphasis on dis-ease prevention and encourages the maintenance of health through close attention to balance in one’s life by right thought, food choices, lifestyle, and the use of herbs.
Consults entail thorough intake, physical assesment, and pulse assessment to establish your Prakruti (baseline constitution i.e. your unique makeup of Vata, Pitta, and Kapha doshas).
HOW WILL IT HELP YOU?
Upon establishing your constitution, we work together to create feasible lifestyle recommendations to support you in creating a balance of body, mind, and consciousness by bringing your baseline constitution back into balance. This can look and feel like a life of energy, clarity of mind, cleansing and comfort in body, and ultimately, longevity.
Just as everyone has a unique fingerprint, each person has a particular pattern of energy—an individual combination of physical, mental and emotional characteristics—which comprises their own constitution. This constitution is determined at conception by a number of factors and remains the same throughout one’s life. Weather, location, foods, times of life, and so many other influences can disturb this delicate balance within you.
